The first step is to check that the bolt securing the oil pump gear is correctly positioned; on several examples, this has not been done, leading to serious consequences. Additionally, in Euro 3 engines, there is no thread locker on the front plate of the air conditioning compressor; over time, this can cause the front plate to fall off. It may happen that it is lost on the road, but if unlucky, it can get caught in the belt or impact the radiator. Here, you should also check that the seal is good, and replace it if necessary. Lastly, the centrifugal filter - a feature unique to this engine - is rarely replaced, although it should be changed more frequently than the standard oil filter.
