Land Rover Defender - Video tutorial
Model: Land Rover Defender
MK 6
- Years 1990-2016 To access the pump, it is normal for a hole to be drilled in the floor of the Defender. Virtually everyone has it, because otherwise we would have to dismantle the whole machine, while with this hole we can access without problems. First we must remove all the dirt that has formed. All methods are fine: vacuum, blower, brush. We remove the diesel pipes and the electrical connector. If you want to make sure everything is back in place, take a picture first. If it is difficult to move them, use some WD-40. With the special key that the youtuber illustrates at the beginning of the video, we unscrew the pump cover; pay attention to the tubes. When we take out the pump, we pay attention to the float. Let's blow it with the compressor. If it is very dirty, let's clean it with a brush just slightly dipped in petrol. Do not use anything else as it could ruin the plastics. Be very careful in re-assembling the pump and refitting the tank. Reassemble the pins (the photo we took before helps us here) and we're good to go. Now we will have to do a diesel refill procedure before restarting the engine. Remember to add an additive to avoid algae and dirt every time we fill up.

How do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto? To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood. by ScegliAuto More videos
