What does the yellow light showing the car with a padlock mean?

Answer

If it happens that the car does not start and you see a yellow light in the dashboard representing the car with a lock, it means that the immobilizer is not recognizing the inserted key and therefore thinks it is an attempted theft. In this case it is possible that, following a fall of the key, the code transmission antenna is broken. So try to start the car with the second key supplied. If this attempt is also unsuccessful, it is possible that there is a fault in the electronic control unit or that there is a malfunction in the coding of the key code; in these cases it will be necessary to contact a specialized workshop to solve the problem.
