The reason this light often comes on is due to wiring located under the passenger seat or the driver's seat, which is usually yellow. In fact, if you look, you will find it clearly visible under the driver's seat, and a yellow connector is also located under the passenger seat. These two yellow components are responsible for the warning light activation. It is possible that moving the seat back and forth may have damaged the wires, or the connector may have simply come loose, causing the light to illuminate. A simple check can help you save a lot of money and tedious repairs.
