Sometimes it can happen that, even though our car does not have the brakes pulled, or is even turned off, the brake lights remain on. There is a rather common reason for this defect: something is broken and we need to replace it. We need to start the engine, and go look under the steering column. In fact, there is a little button that has broken, and on which a switch must press to interrupt the electrical flow that causes the brake lights to turn on. Once we have replaced this button, we have solved the problem and the brake lights will turn off with the brakes released and the car turned off.
