Let's take a look at an overview of why the ESP (or ESC/DSC/VSC depending on the manufacturer) light comes on in our vehicle: a steady light indicates that the system is turned off or has detected a fault that prevents it from functioning; a flashing light, especially in a curve or during acceleration, tells us that the system is active and is intervening to correct a loss of traction.

The reasons for a steady light can be a faulty wheel speed sensor (which is the most common cause); a faulty steering angle sensor (often associated with the deactivation of the electronic power steering); a faulty yaw sensor (which is an uncommon fault); a faulty ABS/ESP module, meaning the control unit that processes all the data: it then operates in degraded mode, without some functions.

It can also be a problem related to wheels of significantly different diameters if the vehicle uses indirect TPMS.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
