How to correctly remove wheel bolts

Before lifting the car, slightly loosen the bolts (about half a turn) while the wheel is still on the ground and stable. This is because if you try to unscrew the bolts while the car is lifted, the wheel will spin on itself, making it difficult to apply force; it is also dangerous, as the car could fall off the jack. Then lift the car with a jack, positioning it at the point indicated in the manual (you will find it under the vehicle) and raise the vehicle until the wheel is off the ground. At this point, completely unscrew the bolts with a cross wrench or socket: the general rule is to do it "in a cross pattern" to avoid deforming the rim. Now remove the wheel and set it aside.
