Operation: Why did the engine malfunction warning light on the car turn on?

There can be various reasons why the engine check light is on, today we will explain the 4 most common reasons: - The first reason why the light is on is related to the sensor. The sensors for the crankshaft, camshaft, detonation, mass air flow, and others ensure that the engine functions correctly. If one of them malfunctions, the engine goes into an emergency state. - The second reason why the light is on is related to a malfunction in the fuel system. The fuel pump conveys fuel from the tank to the fuel channel, through the delivery pipe, and then the injectors spray fuel into the combustion chambers. Malfunctioning of any of these parts can lead to engine failure. - The third reason why the light is on is due to faulty spark plugs or ignition coils. These components are involved in the ignition process of the air-fuel mixture in the engine cylinders. In gasoline engines, this mixture is ignited by an electric spark between the electrodes of the spark plugs, and the coils then transform the low voltage into high voltage. - The fourth reason why the light is on is related to a faulty exhaust system. The oxygen sensor determines the amount of oxygen present in the exhaust gases and sends the data to the ECU. Based on this information, the air-fuel mixture is formed. If the converter is malfunctioning, the light will turn on. For all four reasons, it is necessary to have a computerized diagnosis performed to determine the origin of the malfunction.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
