What to do if the fuel pump in your car fails? Let’s find out in this video. As suggested by the YouTuber, locate the pump, which is usually found under the rear seat, and with the handle of a screwdriver or a non-metallic object, try to give 2 to 3 sharp taps on the body of the pump: the carbon brushes of the electric motor may be stuck, and the taps can temporarily free them. But this is an emergency solution to reach a garage; it does not solve the problem. Check the electrical supply by looking for the fuse or the relay of the pump: use a multimeter to check the voltage of the pump.
