How do I change the front bumper of my Kia Rio?

To remove the bumper from your 2007 Kia Rio, you will only need a set of ratchet wrenches, some screwdrivers and torx bits. First you will need to lift it and remove the front wheels to get better access to the entire front bumper. Now open the hood as you will need to have access to the bumper attachment in the engine compartment. Remove the wheel arches as they are a hindrance to access all the screws on the front bumper. At this point you will also be able to find staples, to achieve this, you will only have to use a staple extractor or do it gently with a large flat screwdriver and use a lever to open the staple. Now you will have to unscrew the screws that are located behind the fender and that seal the front bumper. Unscrew the screws and remove the clips on the top of the bumper in the engine compartment. Now it's time to go under to unscrew the bolts that are on the vehicle chassis, some you'll find in the middle of the bumper and others on the sides. Remember to disconnect the connection to the license plate lighting and the parking sensor (if present). Now very gently you can remove the front bumper by first unlocking the sides. If it doesn't come off, you've most likely forgotten a screw or clip.
