What does Code 89 mean on the Chevrolet Aveo?

Answer

Fault code 89 is a very recurring defect on Aveo fueled by petrol and LPG and is manifested by an anomaly in the LPG fuel level indicator (the indicator shows half the tank even if the tank is full) and the power supply tends to switch from LPG to petrol; this is due to a fuel pressure sensor which also controls the engine temperature and due to a defect it detects a wrong temperature and does not allow the switch to LPG.
