Answer

To change the gear oil on the Golf 5, 1.9 liters of gear oil are required in the 5-speed version. In the 6-speed version of the Golf 5, 2.3 liters of oil per gearbox are required. In both cases, the specifications to be respected are GL4 or GL5 75w-90.
