Mercedes Classe B - Video tutorial
Model: Mercedes Classe B
MK 1, W245
- Years 2005-2011 In this video tutorial you can see how it is possible to change the manual gearbox oil in the Mercedes. First you need to work safely, so before positioning yourself under the vehicle, lift your car via a movable bridge and put up some jack stands. The oil must be at a warm temperature. Take a basin to collect the gear oil. Remove the filler screw with a 14mm hex wrench. Also remove the 17mm drain screw. To change the gear oil, you need 1.7 liters of MB 235.10 specification oil. Place a new cap. Fill with the new oil (1.7 liters) until the oil flows back from the gearbox, until it reaches the rim.
