How to Replace the Gearbox Oil on a Volkswagen Golf 5?

To replace the gearbox oil on a Volkswagen Golf 5, access the underside of the car, where you will need to disconnect the bolts securing the panel over the engine bay. Once the panel is removed, access the gearbox by opening the drain plug and collecting the oil in a container. After the old oil is removed, insert the new oil through the designated channel in the engine bay, under the air filter housing. After topping up, reassemble all removed parts.
