How to Change the Air Filter in a Volkswagen Golf

On the Volkswagen Golf, the air filter replacement is done from the engine compartment without complicated disassembly. Open the bonnet and locate the plastic filter box: it is clearly visible at the top of the engine, near the battery and the blue washer fluid cap. Before opening it, a new filter (in packaging) is shown, making it clear what needs to be fitted. Once at the filter box of the Volkswagen Golf, proceed to the cover fastenings: in the tutorial, the cover screws are loosened with the appropriate tool, working on the visible points along the edge. Once released, lift the cover just enough to expose the internal housing and the old filter.
