How to Install Electric Seats on the Volkswagen Golf 7

On the Volkswagen Golf 7, the installation of electric seats is carried out with the vehicle turned off and the battery safely disconnected. Slide the seat back to be removed, access the guide fixings, disconnect the seat connector, and unscrew the screws/bolts; carefully extract the seat, taking care of the wiring and guides. For the installation of the electric seat, position it on the rails, connect the seat wiring to the connectors on the floor, and check for any dedicated power supply (fuse/relay/ignition positive) as shown. Once the connections are complete, tighten the guide fixings and reattach any covers. After the work is finished, reconnect the battery and perform movement tests (forward/backward, height, backrest) ensuring no warnings appear on the dashboard; if required, calibrate the presence/airbag seat sensor according to the onboard instrumentation.
