Transmission Oil Change Instructions

To perform the transmission oil change, lift the vehicle on a hydraulic lift. Locate the drain plug (located underneath) and the fill plug (located higher up): both must be removed to completely drain the oil from the transmission.

Once the draining is complete, screw the drain plug back in and add new oil (SAE 75 W 90) through the fill hole using a syringe: the level is reached when the oil starts to overflow (approximately two quarts of oil are needed), at which point screw the plug back in.
