First you need to make sure that the steering wheel is not simply blocked by the steering lock. To do this, try turning the key very carefully left and right, moving the steering wheel smoothly. If it does not unlock with this system, check that the key is not damaged. If it is not but the key does not turn anyway, it may be that the cylinder is seized; It is a rare but possible failure and in this case all that remains is to take it to the workshop and have it replaced. If the key turns instead, try turning it to the right to see if the engine starts. With the engine running, the steering column should turn. If the engine still does not start, try removing the key until you find the point where this occurs. If the steering does not turn despite the engine running, there may have been a theft attempt that you did not realize where the steering has been damaged. At this point, unfortunately, all that remains is to change it.
