To reset the Service light on a Ford Focus, turn on the instrument cluster by inserting the key into the ignition and turning it: once the cluster is on, press the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously for about thirty seconds. While holding the pedals down, a message will appear confirming the reset of the maintenance interval; therefore, at the end of the procedure, turn off the cluster by turning the key back.
