How to reset the service light on a Ford Focus

To reset the service light on a Ford Focus, get in the car and close all the doors. Insert the key and turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine. Use the buttons on the steering wheel to access the onboard computer menu and scroll to the "Vehicle Settings" or "Maintenance" section. Select the "Service Interval" or "Service" option and hold down the OK button for a few seconds until the confirmation message for the reset appears on the display. Release the button, turn off the instrument panel, and turn it back on to check that the maintenance light has indeed been reset.
