Removing the door panel of the Smart Fortwo 453 is very simple, we need a Torx T20 wrench, a T13 and a plastic removal tool. First we unscrew the screw in the outer edge of the panel, the screw inside the handle and the one hidden under the knob, which must first be removed. Finally, we disengage the internal mirror cover in order to unlock the clip underneath and proceed to remove the panel with the aid of the plastic tool.
