How do you install the outer door panel of a Smart fortwo? This video explains how to proceed. Before starting the installation, disconnect the battery terminals located in the front engine compartment. Grip the outer panel with your hands, position it against the car door, and align it with the door frame. Use a screwdriver to tighten the securing screws on the inner door panel, and fit the rubber seal on the door next to the glass. Attach all the clips of the door panel, applying pressure around the entire perimeter of the door.
