How to Remove the Door Panel of a Smart ForTwo Cabrio

Before starting, open the door of your Smart ForTwo Cabrio. Begin by removing the side mirror, detaching the inner cover and unscrewing the fixing bolts. Next, unscrew and remove the screws that secure the door panel to the door itself. This will free the door panel. At this point, detach and remove it from the door by unfastening the internal clips that hold it in place. Then, disconnect the electrical connector and the handle cable, and the disassembly will be complete.
