The turbo compressor exploits the energy of the exhaust gases to turn the compressor blades which compress the air at the intake ensuring supercharging for the benefit of performance; given the high number of revolutions and the temperatures involved, the turbine tends to deteriorate but can be regenerated; generally between 150,000 and 200,000 km it may already be necessary to intervene.
