The problem related to the Mazda CX3 diesel filter is a hiss or, worse, jerks that led the manufacturer to make a recall to change the diesel filter. Having placed the diesel filter in the lower part of the car at the left rear wheel, exposes it to variations in viscosity based on temperatures. Some have complained about a frozen filter, however the residues found in the filter when you disassemble it do not suggest a freezing as the residues are black while if the diesel freezes it would be white.
