BSI units often tend to fail but before running for repairs in the workshop, you can try the BSI reset, if you're lucky your problem could be solved. To carry out the reset you will need to: roll down the driver's window, raise the bonnet to make sure the system is off. Then make sure that all car doors are closed and remove the key from the ignition. At this point wait 3 minutes and disconnect the vehicle battery and wait another 15 seconds; now reconnect the battery, wait 10sec and turn on the side lights through the window, without opening the doors. Finally, turn on the pairing and check the functionality of the system; press the lock button on the key for 10sec, remove the key, open and close the doors and test the central locking system. Finally start the engine and complete the system check.
