How to Reset the BSI Light on a Peugeot 3008?

Model: Peugeot 3008 T84, MK 1 - Years 2009-2016

The BSI light on the Peugeot 3008 indicates that the alternator is not charging the battery, causing the battery icon light to illuminate. To turn off this light, keep the instrument panel off and do not open any doors for about 3 minutes; then disconnect the battery, wait fifteen seconds, and reconnect it, waiting another fifteen seconds. This way, when you turn the instrument panel back on, you will find that the BSI light is no longer illuminated; after resetting the light, you can turn off the instrument panel.
