Remove the wheel and take off the wheel arch liner. You will need to remove the pulley cover with a screwdriver, then unscrew the pulley bolt with an 8mm Allen key (this is also the fixing bolt for the alternator).

Remove the pulley and tensioner. To remove the alternator, unscrew the top bolt of the alternator with a 16mm socket; move the air conditioning compressor by disconnecting the electrical connectors, unscrewing the 4 fixing bolts, and then lowering it. Now fit the new auxiliary belt, following the original pattern (written clockwise), routing it over all the pulleys and lifting the tensioner to tension it. Refit the wheel arch liner, the wheel, and lower the car. Tighten the nuts and reconnect the battery.
