How to replace the alternator in the Peugeot 206 diesel?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the alternator in the Peugeot 206 with diesel power, a simple operation that requires good manual skills. First of all, we lift the front right side, then disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and remove both the wheel and the inner cover of the wheel arch. We then grip the tensioner with a 15mm key, loosen the tension, remove the belt and remove the pulley at the base of the alternator. At this point, all that remains is to temporarily remove the air conditioning compressor, unscrew the mounting bolts of the alternator and disconnect the power poles. To reassemble everything, simply follow the reverse procedure.
