How to replace the temperature sensor on the Peugeot 206

To replace the engine temperature sensor on your vehicle, follow these steps, using the images from the tutorial video for assistance. Open the bonnet and lift the vehicle from under the engine bay. Disconnect the water outlet hose from the radiator to drain the cooling system. Return to the engine bay and locate the sensor on the right side of the cylinder head. First, disconnect the electrical connector, then use a socket spanner to unscrew the sensor. Obtain a new sensor, refit it in place, and reconnect the power connector. Finally, refill the cooling system with coolant.
