Answer

The EGR valve, or Exaust Gas Recirculation, is a device which allows the reuse of a part of the vehicle's exhaust gases to reduce the percentage of nitrogen oxides produced by combustion. To do this, the valve is positioned downstream of the engine and more precisely, on the Opel Zafira B-series, on the right rear side of the power unit. Access to this position is effective after having removed the engine guard cover and the lower edge of the windscreen.
