To open the front bonnet of your Smart 450 car, you will have to unhook the two plastic pins on the front ventilation grille of the vehicle outwards. In this way you will be able to lower the bonnet which fits into the nose of the car through some fissures. Once this is done, to unscrew the pins you will need to use the vehicle key which has a special toothing that serves precisely this purpose.
