To open the bonnet of the Smart 450, do not pull the lever inside the cabin, as the front bonnet of this car consists of a single panel that must be removed. To do this, loosen the screws that secure it from inside the door pillars and beneath the front grille. The grille must be removed by detaching the internal clips, allowing the underlying screws to be loosened. After removing all these screws, you can completely detach the panel to access the components underneath.
