In this video we can see how simple it is to open the hood of the Smart by following simple and few steps that will allow us to access the engine compartment where all the important parts are present, which must be checked periodically to have the vehicle always running. First of all, to open the front hood of the Smart, we simply have to unhook the levers that can be found located in the front grille under the hood; once the levers have been released we can go to open and then lift the front hood, as shown in the video and then secure it. To reassemble it, proceed with the reverse steps.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
