In this video, you will see how to remove the bonnet on a Smart Fortwo 450 in simple and quick steps. First, unclip the lower front grille of the bonnet by levering at the sides; then open the front hatch and unscrew the bodywork fixing screws, as shown in the video.

Next, remove the triangular cover just behind the external mirror and unscrew the screws found inside the holes; now you can start unclipping the bonnet panel by gently levering at the sides.
