Answer

In the Jeep Compass, when the message "SDW not available" appears, it indicates that the parking sensors are not available and the reasons may be: the P button located in the center console has been inadvertently pressed, deactivating the sensors; another reason may be that the sensors are dirty and therefore not functioning properly; and the last problem may be that there is an issue with the control unit.
