Before you can start, sit in the driver's seat of your Jeep Compass. Begin by activating the instrument cluster without starting the engine by pressing the ignition button.

Next, quickly press the accelerator pedal 10 times. Once you have completed this step, turn off the instrument cluster.

At this point, start your Jeep Compass. Once the engine is running, you will notice that the oil change light is off, successfully completing the reset.
