Resetting the oil change light on the Jeep Compass is a very simple procedure that will take little time. To reset the oil change light, turn on the ignition, wait five seconds, and then press the accelerator three times.

Once done, wait two seconds and switch off the ignition. At this point, wait five seconds and turn the ignition back on. The reset should now be complete, and the Jeep Compass should no longer display messages or anomalies.

If everything has gone correctly, after a couple of seconds, all warning lights should turn off, and the vehicle will no longer indicate that an oil change is required.
