On the Jeep Compass, resetting the oil service light is a very simple and quick operation. First, change the oil and the corresponding filter as per the manual. Insert the key and turn it to the second position to power the instrument cluster without starting the engine. Next, press the accelerator pedal fully five times in a row. Finally, switch off the instrument cluster, turn it back on, and check that the procedure has been completed correctly.
