How to Replace the Key Fob Battery in a Jeep Compass

Below, we will discover the steps to remove and replace the battery in the key fob of the Jeep Compass. First, take the key fob in hand and start by extracting the physical key from inside it; then, pry open the fob along the seam to split it into two parts, as shown in the video. At this point, you will have access to the electronic board and the battery, removing the latter; install the new battery, of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V), inserting it in the correct orientation. Finally, reinstall the physical key into the fob.
