To replace the key fob battery on a Jeep Compass, loosen the screw located just below the key. By loosening this screw, you can open the fob and access the battery inside. The battery can then be extracted from its housing and replaced with a new spare part.

Once the new battery is inserted into the device, close it by securing it with the screw. After installing the new battery, check that the fob is functioning.
