How to Replace the Remote Battery on the Jeep Compass?

To replace the battery in the remote for the Jeep Compass, lift the lever located on the back of the remote to extract the key from the top. Once this is removed, pry inside its housing to separate the two halves of the remote. This will give you access to the battery, which should be removed from its housing and replaced with a new spare part. After installing the new battery, reassemble all components of the remote.
