How do you replace the 12v battery of the Toyota Auris Hybrid?

Answer

The 12v battery of the Toyota Auris Hybrid is located below the trunk floor. Once the cover is removed, we can unscrew the two bracket bolts and disconnect, in order, the negative terminal and then the positive one. We remove the battery and install the new one by first connecting the negative pole and then the positive one.
