In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the battery on a hybrid Toyota Auris. The hybrid battery is located under the rear seats of the vehicle.

The first step is to remove the rear seats; the next step is to remove the 6 screws to take off the cover. Once the screws are removed, take off the metal cover located under the seat.

At this point, you will be facing the battery (hybrid battery). Now, remove the fan connected to the hybrid battery using a 13 mm socket and disconnect the cables.

Once the fan is removed, take a ratchet with a 14 mm socket to unscrew the battery bolts. Once the battery bolts are removed and the cables disconnected, you can take out the battery.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
