To replace the battery in a Toyota Auris Hybrid, loosen the screws that secure the rear seat bench to its housing. Once these screws are loosened, you can completely remove the seats from their housing and locate the battery underneath.

The battery can then be freed from its position by loosening the securing screws and disconnecting the power cables; this will allow you to remove it from its location, insert the new replacement part, and verify that everything works.
