Answer

The roll bar is a protective structure designed to protect the occupants of a car in the event of a rollover or other type of accident. The roll bar is a fundamental aspect for the functioning of the soft top. It may happen that for a variety of reasons the roll bar does not work properly, jerking and locking up, therefore, also preventing the hood from working. Often the problem lies in the oil pump of the hood, which if it stops working does not have sufficient pressure to open the roll bar and the hood itself. The solution in this case will be to change the oil pump.
