If the soft top has to be closed and hooked in manual mode, it is first of all necessary to have the appropriate standard key in the tool set: it is a key that has a sort of fork at one end and a hexagonal key on the other. Start by unhooking the soft top cover locks near the soft top support pillars, lift the cover and remove the soft top; lower and hook the cover and open the hood, hook it in the front and put it in safety with the special safety devices to be closed with the hexagonal key, then hook the rear part and put it under tension through the special adjusters located in the luggage rack, near the tailgate hinges.

Disassembly of the gear knob on the Lancia Ypsilon 2

Today we will see, in this video tutorial, how to remove and replace the gear knob on the second series Lancia Ypsilon, but also on the Lancia Musa, in simple and quick steps. We get inside the car and start by removing the old gear knob; to do this, just unscrew it anticlockwise, as shown in the video. At this point we also remove the gearshift gaiter, in order to replace, if necessary, it too; we just have to fix the new headset and insert the new gear knob, screwing it correctly and without creating play on the gear lever!
