In order to remove the car radio from the Acura ILX you need to pry an object so that all the moldings around the radio can be removed. These are located next to the steering column, under the radio and at the top of the glovebox. Removing these moldings will allow you to unscrew the screws underneath, so that the radio can be extracted from its housing by disconnecting the connectors at the rear. When the old radio has been removed, it will be possible to insert the new one by fixing it with the screws and connecting it appropriately.
