With the ignition on, the display in the centre of the dashboard shows a service reminder message and the red oil light flashing. Now, connect the PC to the vehicle's diagnostic port using a serial cable and proceed as follows: Switch off the ignition and select the car model first, then the engine type, and wait for the connection. Once connected to the vehicle's ECU, enter the date of the last service performed and the mileage for the next one. Disconnect the PC, switch on the ignition, and the operation is complete, as confirmed by the absence of the service reminder message and the oil light no longer flashing.
