How to Replace the Rear Brake Pads on an Alfa Romeo Giulietta

To replace the rear brake pads on an Alfa Romeo Giulietta, lift the rear of the car with a jack and remove the wheel bolts to take off the wheel. Once the wheel is removed, unscrew the rear bolts holding the brake caliper (hold the nut with a spanner and unscrew the bolts with a socket wrench). Remove the rear caliper and disconnect the wear sensor cable. Using an Allen key, unscrew the caliper/pad support. Now take the caliper, retract the piston using a special tool, take the support, fit the new pad clips, and screw it to the disc (you may apply sealant on the end of the bolt). Position the new pads, ensuring the one with the wear sensor is at the back, then position the brake caliper, screw in the bolts (apply sealant on the end of the bolt) using the spanner and socket wrench. Finally, replace the wheel and tighten the bolts.
